A friend reminded me yesterday that I have been blogging for six years now, only my original blog is now history and deleted. Even now I am perplexed by the concept of blogging because there is a very thin line between the personal and the public. I cringe at the reminder that I used to be the kind of blogger who wrote a lot about her personal life. Over the years I have realized that I love blogs that are content specific like Orangette and most certainly The Big Picture. Also, Listverse is informative yet amusing and I can’t possibly miss out on Le Love – the one stop destination for a lot of mush. The Paris Review is strictly speaking not a blog but it is an excellent read. Decor 8 has to be the prettiest blog I have ever come across. Of course, I really like some of the blogs in WordPress which are entirely about books. Finally, I am almost through with The New York Trilogy and can claim to be an ardent Paul Auster fan. Apart from finishing the massive Murakami book, I have made bleak progress with reading this vacation. Next year’s resolution of reading more remains.
P.S.: Happy New Year.
thanks for that lovely list…they are indeed a treat!
have a good year, you <3
What about a resolution to write more? I miss your blogposts.
I feel so lazy
